We were pleased to attend this year’s German Ophthalmological Society (DOG) conference and trade show in Berlin. The event, held from October 19th to 22nd at the Berlin Exhibition Center, provided an excellent opportunity to showcase our high-quality treatment chairs and surgical chairs.

We are pleased to report our successful participation at the 35th International Congress of German Ophthalmic Surgery. From June 15 to 17, 2023, we presented our diverse product range at a generously designed booth.

Our booth offered enough space to impressively present all our products and to give our visitors a comprehensive overview of our range. From proven bestsellers to innovative solutions – we proudly displayed our entire product range.

We are particularly proud that we were also able to present an exciting new product at the trade fair. In future, the surgiForce and surgiForce light surgeon’s chairs will be available with an additional component, a sliding carriage that can be operated comfortably – as well as sterilely – with the foot. This latest development has aroused great interest among visitors and received positive feedback. We are convinced that this innovation offers significant added value for our customers and will further strengthen our position as market leader.

The trade show offered us a unique opportunity to make valuable contacts and deepen existing relationships. The exchange of ideas and the meetings with customers, partners and industry experts were extremely inspiring. We are grateful for the positive feedback we received and look forward to continuing to present our products and innovations on international platforms in the future.

We look back with success on our first participation at the 27th UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition in Dubai. On three days of the fair, trade visitors had the opportunity to try out the 500 ECO treatment chair, the surgiLine surgeon’s chair, the assistPro F assistant’s chair and the supportLine instrument table at our booth in the German Pavilion and receive expert advice.

Countless international visitors, many successful discussions and a crowd of more than 77,000 trade visitors, the likes of which Arab Health has not seen since it began more than 30 years ago, made this year’s trade show our highlight.

After the exhibition of the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) ended on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, we return with many new contacts and their common and profitable exchange. Over five days, various symposia and a variety of educational courses took place at the European Congress of Optometry. In addition to the personal educational and social opportunities, visitors to the fair were also able to find out about the latest products from international companies in the medical technologies sector.

For a global company like us, participation in the fair was worthwhile. In addition, we were delighted to see a significant increase in the number of visitors compared to last year’s ESCRS 2021.

In this context, we are looking forward to continued good cooperation with existing customers and, of course, with newly established contacts.

We draw a positive balance after this year’s 34th International Congress of German Ophthalmic Surgeons. After a two-year break due to the pandemic, we again enjoyed numerous personal customer meetings at one of the most important events in ophthalmic surgery in Europe.

At this year’s interdisciplinary medical symposium LidCologne 2022 in Cologne, there was a lively exchange of ideas under the guiding theme “Medicine and aesthetics around the eyes”. Well-known speakers illuminated the topic with scientific and practice-oriented lectures. During the subsequent live demonstrations, experienced practitioners imparted techniques and tips for the aesthetic treatment of the periocular region to the more than 100 interested participants.

Dr. Hüseyin Aral, President of DeGeLid, as well as Dr. Peter Stein, Dr. Alla Besel and Dr. Andreas Kromer had the opportunity to test the eyeForce as a highly specialized treatment chair for ophthalmic surgery in practice. With its 3D and longitudinally adjustable head section with trough, its outstanding ergonomic operability and the pleasant patient comfort positioning, our product is specialized for precision surgery in the head area.

Every day we receive terrible pictures and news from the bombed war regions and cities. There are catastrophic conditions, the medical care is at the limit or even already collapsed.
We follow the call for donations of our city Regensburg – the twin city of Odessa – and gladly provide stayClean wipes disinfectant wipes incl. dispenser systems as pallet goods worth 20,000.- € for the currently running relief supplies.

Thanks to the long-standing partnerships between German and Ukrainian cities, there is a well-functioning network of contacts.
Urgently needed relief supplies are also sent on their way from Regensburg on a daily basis.

Also this year UFSK-OSYS was represented as an exhibitor at the Arab Health 2022, the leading trade fair for health and medicine, in Dubai. The treatment table 500 XLE and the surgeon’s chair surgiLine were presented at the booth. There were so many visitors that all the information material was sold out in no time. In addition, all questions from the trade visitors were answered.

“It was a great pleasure to finally be able to present our new products for mobile treatment chairs for dental surgery live to the specialist audience at IDS”, says Roman Kunkel, Distribution Europe, and Fabian Lang, Distribution International, adds “We were able to make more international contacts than expected, optimism in the post-corona period has returned, especially among international distributors”.

It was an unique experience to meet in-person after almost two years.

This year’s congress saw ophthalmologist participants face-to-face at the Amsterdam event from across the globe. “Live booth talks is what we burn for” says managing director Jürgen Scherrieble beaming with joy when he enters the hall on the first day of the fair.

Our team was able to hold many interesting discussions with customers and partners and provide detailed information about the extensive product portfolio. The 500ECO treatment chair, specially developed for IVOM treatments, met with great interest. Our visitors were particularly impressed by the speed of adjustment.

Surgeons as well as nursing staff loved testing premiumLine eyeForce’s e-drive right at the booth. It serves as a pushing aid for easy forward and backward movement – with an extra range of 2 kilometers per battery charge. The e-drive moves and not the person!
