Our company is pleased to look back on the successful participation of its employees in this year’s Leukemia Run 2024. The Leukemia Run, organized by Leukämiehilfe Ostbayern e.V., has developed into an important charity event over the last 26 years, supporting people with cancer (not only leukemia). A total of over 3,500 athletes, including 400 children, registered for the event on October 6, 2024. UFSK-OSYS was not only represented by its employees, but also supported the event as a sponsor. We are proud to have been part of this family and sporting event, which not only stood for physical fitness, but above all sent a signal of solidarity. The starting point for the various runs was traditionally the RT site at Oberer Wöhrd in Regensburg. We are pleased to have made a contribution to a good cause together with many other dedicated participants.

At this year’s interdisciplinary medical symposium LidCologne 2022 in Cologne, there was a lively exchange of ideas under the guiding theme “Medicine and aesthetics around the eyes”. Well-known speakers illuminated the topic with scientific and practice-oriented lectures. During the subsequent live demonstrations, experienced practitioners imparted techniques and tips for the aesthetic treatment of the periocular region to the more than 100 interested participants. Dr. Hüseyin Aral, President of DeGeLid, as well as Dr. Peter Stein, Dr. Alla Besel and Dr. Andreas Kromer had the opportunity to test the eyeForce as a highly specialized treatment chair for ophthalmic surgery in practice. With its 3D and longitudinally adjustable head section with trough, its outstanding ergonomic operability and the pleasant patient comfort positioning, our product is specialized for precision surgery in the head area.
