UFSK-OSYS on humanitarian mission with project 'Air Hospital'

UFSK-OSYS is proud to announce its association with Canguro O.N.L.U.S. Flights Aid as part of a humanitarian relief mission throughout developing countries and those devastated by war or natural disaster.

UFSK-OSYS has donated two state-of-the-art surgical chairs to complement Canguro’s specially designed Fokker 27 Mk500 aircraft.  This 50 passenger, turbo propeller “Air Hospital” is equipped with 2 onboard operating rooms, pre/post-op treatment areas, pharmacy and external pneumatic tent, and has the capability of reaching remote villages and areas inaccessible by other means of transportation.  When deployed, the versatile “Air Hospital” can support many different types of medical treatments in the areas of ophthalmic, dental and pediatric medicine, as well as providing basic logistic support.
